Mr. Kishore Musale

Mr. Musale is the Founder and Chairman of ASTARC Group, founded in 1987, a diversified group with interests in multiple industries. As Chairman of the Group, he oversees the group companies in automotive graphics, retail display and imaging solutions, mining, real estate, power, ports, IT enabled services in India, East Africa, USA, and Indonesia. One of the group companies, Classic Stripes, the world’s largest manufacturer of automotive decals, has been ranked among the "Best Places to Work", consistently for 8 years in a row and is rated as the best company in the world in its field.

In his worldwide travel, he has developed close relationships with professors from universities like Harvard, Wharton, and Kellogg. He has extensive contacts with the leaders of business community in India at the highest levels.

Being the forefront visionary of ASTARC Group, Mr. Musale is the whole and soul behind the founding and philosophy of KMCT. His passion for social development, beliefs and value system are the basis for the vision of the Trust.

Mr. Salil Musale

Mr. Salil works with multiple group companies for improving business performance through financial and operational analysis. He leads the group’s team building activities for diversification into new areas of growth for the Group.

He has been a critical member of the project management team of the Group’s thermal power project. He has planned and executed the East Africa operations of the Group. Prior to this, he has led the integration of an American acquisition for one of the Group’s manufacturing businesses. He has led and grown the retail business division of one of the Group’s decal business.

Prior to joining ASTARC Group, Mr. Musale worked with A.T. Kearney where he was involved in project management and business analysis for various clients, which included large Indian business houses.

Being the young and energetic leader of the ASTARC Group, Mr. Salil brings to KMCT dynamism and a futuristic perspective. He encourages the Trust to look at the long-term impact and sustainability of programs, and encourages the team to constantly find innovative solutions.

Mr. Sameer Musale

Mr. Sameer heads Business Development for Classic Retail Imaging Solutions Pvt Ltd. He has 4 years of experience in Business Development and Corporate Strategy with ASTARC Group.

Previously, Mr. Sameer worked with Avista Houlihan Lokey, an investment bank for 2 years, serving clients across multiple sectors and geographies. He has a Masters Degree in Finance from University of Mumbai and a Bachelors Degree in Management Studies from H. R. College for Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.

With his core experience of finance and management, Mr. Sameer guides KMCT in optimizing resources and developing effective strategies. His interest and passion for the Trust activities are an inspiration for the KMCT Team.

Mr. Upendra Sontakke

With an academic and development sector experience of more than 18 years, Upendra Sontakke is presently heading CSR of ASTARC Group of Companies. He started his career with USA based International Development Agency CRS_USCCB in 1998. During his career he has helped 100+ grassroot NGOs in transforming the social and economic capacities of people. He was involved in developing CSR strategic plans while working with corporates namely Landmark Group, EMCO Ltd. and Lavasa Corporation Ltd. as their CSR Manager. He has written various articles on CSR for various magazines & journals.

He has been awarded an honorary position of Regional Director by CASI New York, an Institute of CSR & Sustainability Certification. He has been awarded the citation of ‘100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (Global Listing) by World CSR Day & World Sustainability Congress’, in February 2016. His domain expertise lies in the field of CSR, working closely with Government, grassroot NGOs and other like-minded organizations. He is an active member of various knowledge sharing platforms including INDIA CSR, Solution Exchange (UNDP), Maharashtra Government CSR Interaction Body. He was awarded for ‘Excellence in Gujarat Earthquake Response Program and Tamil Nadu Tsunami Response Program’ by CRS-USCCB. In 2015 and 2016 he was interviewed by leading CSR magazine, “CSR & Competitiveness” for his work in the CSR domain.

He is B. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering and completed World Bank sponsored course on Disaster Risk Reduction. He is passionate about the development of less privileged people and has contributed greatly through his work.

Mr. Jimson Lopes

Jimson is a Bachelor in Social Work and a Master in Business Administration – HR. He carries a 6 year experience of working in Corporate Social Responsibility and in the NGO Sector. He was associated with RPG Group and has worked for Raychem RPG as their CSR Officer.

He is very passionate about working for Rural Development and Education and has contributed significantly in these areas through his work. Having the apt combination of essential knowledge of the social sector with management skills, Jimson is effectively participating in evolving the KMCT projects and programs and facilitating it’s journey to excellence.

Mr. Balasaheb Babar

Mr. Babar has completed his Masters in Social Work and has a rich experience of 12 years in the socio-development sector. He has worked closely with the Government as the Probation Officer at the Government’s Children’s Home, Umarkhandi, Mumbai.

In this role, he played a significant part in executing the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act and worked in tandem with the Child Welfare Committee. He has also held the position of Project Manager with the Mumbai District Aids Control Society which required him to work closely with the high risk community of sex workers in Mumbai. With this diverse experience, Mr. Babar brings to the KMCT team a significant value add in reaching out to the villages and causes supported by the Trust.

Mr. Rupesh Marbate

Rupesh has completed his Masters in Social Work with Specialization in Rural Development from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He has more than 4 years of experience of working with the rural community. He has worked in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra on issues of agrarian crisis and rural development. He has also worked in the Naxal areas of Gadchiroli District on livelihood generation amongst tribal youth, women and farmers.

He is passionate about working with the rural community for their livelihood development by working with Women’s Self Help Group (SHG), Youth and Agrarian Society; this passion and grassroot experience is what Rupesh brings to the team of KMCT.

Mr. Dhananjay M Sanas

Mr. Dhananjay M Sanas received his Masters in Social work and has 12 years experiences in Corporate Social Responsibility as in Social Development Sector. Has closed worked with the organisation like Indiabulls, RattanIndia Power Ltd. & NGO’s.

He is having insightful experience in community development through social, health, education, economic as well as environmental progs; skills in striking convergence across community based organisation, government and other stakeholders like corporate & project affected people.

In his role, he has streamlined CSR process by implementing CSR, R & R policy measures. He has a recipient of clearance of MoEF (2nd stage) for the contributing a part of CSR performance and also significantly development CSR strategies for maintaining better relations. He has initiated center for vocational guidance activities/training under SCVT at RattanIndia group.

Ms. Bakhita N Sequeira

Ms. Bakhita N Sequeira. holds her Masters and Bachlors degree in Social work through a renowned institute in Mumbai, Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work. Her interest lies in working with the under privileged and helping them avail the existing resources. She has a varied working and internship experience in the field of health, education, development of social sector in both rural and urban area.

She is effectively participating in KMCT projects through appropriate knowledge and skills developed over the years. Her contribution is helping us achieve set goals with desired results and excellence.

Mr.Mahesh Deriya

Mahesh Deriya, senior executive – CSR at ASTARC group having more than 6 and half year experience with leading 3 companies. He has done master degree in MSW from Sardar Patel University also he has done Post graduation diploma in Corporate Social responsibility.

Through his journey, Mahesh Deriya successfully designed and implemented development projects such as Income generation, women empowerment, natural farming, education and healthcare in rural areas for betterment of community.

Mr.Samuel Massey

Mr. Samuel Massey done with the Masters in Social work from Allahabad Deemed University. He has 9 years experiences in Community development and also Corporate Social Responsibility as in Social Development Sector. He has worked with the organization and corporate like Anchor Electricals Pvt. Ltd. & NGO’s World Vision India. And worked on multi sectorial project like Health, Education, Economic and Youth capacity building as well as agriculture program for community empowerment and youth skill development with the community.

Now he stared journey with ASTARC group CSR. He will be shared own experiences with the team for community development and achieved goals with desired outcomes.

Mr.Sanjay Kumar Choudhary

A competent development professional having more than 18 years of experience in Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) and in NGO sector. He has worked with various communities across different geographical areas of India such as Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra.

His previous assignments are with renowned organizations such as Ambuja Cement Foundation (ACF), Foundation for Ecological Security (FES), BASIX etc.

His key skills are Project Management, Natural Resources Management, Community Development, Stakeholder Engagement for sustainable development, Process documentation, Training and Capacity building etc.

His professional qualification is PGDRD (Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development) from XISS (Xavier Institute of Social Services), Ranchi. He has also done PGDM (Post graduate Diploma in Management) (For working Executives) from IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Raipur.

Mr. Ashish Darveshi

Mr. Ashish has worked with farmer’s community for 4 years, During which he worked on farmer capacity building for adopting improved agricultural practices. He has also worked for developing effective market link-up with farmers.

Networking with government is one of specialized areas. He has has passion to bring socio economic development among less privileged people.
